GAGG:Ce (Cerium-doped Gadolinium Aluminium Gallium Garnet) is a Single crystal scintillators with high density and high gamma-ray absorption coefficient coupled with photodetectors are commonly used for detection of high-energy photons and particles. There is continuous demand for new scintillator materials for such application as: X-ray computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET) and other medical imaging techniques, as well as in high energy and nuclear physics.
